Poetics Edition

Welcome to Poetic Sedition. A love of poetry and double entendre, I couldn't resist taking over this domain name. I'm not entirely sure if poetry has ever incited rebellion, though it certainly poses a challenge and altered point of view. I am very much the rebel, and as my father once joked - a rebel without a clue.
My first mission was to Google "Poetic Sedition" and then I decided I look for treason instead. For what is sedition without looking for treason first? I found this poem and edited it (for spelling only) as it conjured up an interesting rebellious jumble of words and images.
wonderous words with rhetorical resonance
written in worship of asinine assonance
promote remote rhyme and reason
stately stanzas of poetic treason
disregard diction without remorse
dealing this drug and denying discourse
reading and seething in perpetual penance
people! guard against egregious grievance
fallacious sensations lead to temptations
towering tongues lashing alliterations
fooled were we once when we were young
yielding and yearning on each head rhyme hung
but brazen the beast born with the gall
who wittingly writes rhymes to swindle us all
so save such seditious siglum schemes
or else take to the depths the rest of our dreams
Fe'ic - California (as published on Xanga)
So here I am and here's where it begins. Why not stay awhile and listen?

Poetic Sedition
Inspiration
And yes of course I will be adding my own writing ramblings and poetry.
I don't think I was cut out
to paste
Copy or poor facsimile
It's yours and my time I'd waste
And the opportunity to be original
Is tempting and far too delicious
